Default 16" tire suggestions....MT or Hoosier?

Car is a 6-speed with a 9" and 4.30's. Cam and boltons, good suspension setup. What tire would you recommend for me? Hoosier has a 26X9.5-16 QTP, MT has their ET street 26X10.5. It will be mounted on a stock camaro wheel. This is just for the track, and maybe the very occasional street use. I dont think a radial will work well with the gear/6-speed. Raceweight should be ~3400 with me in it.

26X10.5 ET Street FTW!! When I had my first 9" Dusty I used those launched at 4500 and dead hooked worked great, wish I would have tried 5500 launch!!

I don't have a 9" but I run the ET streets on my 6speed C5 w/IRS. they dead hook on the street & at the track. I couldn't ask for more grip on a dry road. I've heard good things about the hoosiers but don't have any first hand experience.

I'll be going with the ET Streets for my stock 16" wheels.

I think a 28" tire will be too much for me. Hard to say though.
