They are 12mm metric I think, I dont remember but I just went to the hardware store and found the nuts that fit on the stockers to get the thread size/pitch. They had some 10.9 grade washer faced metric bolts that worked perfect.

Yeah, I tried just matching what I had, but the threads were trashed... And of course I dont have any metric thread chasers or taps to try in there. I guess knowing that they are metric helps alot... I guess Im gonna go and make a Ace Hardware guy walk in and out of the store with me untill I find the correct one.

Thanks for the lead at least!

12mm-x.xx Just gotta figure out the thread pitch.

If I have time when I get home tonight I will attempt to thread a wheel stud into the hole, if it works then its an M12X1.5 (12mm X 1.50)... If all else it will rule that size out for you...

Haha, cool man. I didnt even think of that. I have my stock wheel studs laying around the garage somewhere. If I can find them, I'll try that. If you find out they do or dont fit, let me know just in case. I just looked at the clock and noticed I missed the hardware store
So that adventure's gonna wait till tomorrow anyway.

Thanks again guys!

OK I attempted to screw a stock wheel stud I had into a few different seatbelt holes in my car, i did it in a few of them because I have been driving my car with those holes exposed to the elements for over a year or so and wanted to see if the results were consistant. On every one it di the exact same thing, it started to tread but after a few twists it bound up, so I think it isn't 12mm X 1.50, but it is damn close. When you go to the hardware store try either a 12mm X 1.25 or 12mm X 1.75...

Me too. Glad we were able to narrow the selection down before I went to the hardware store. The guy at Ace was a total tool and I dont think he would have tolerated going in and out of the store over and over again.

I was able to go and say "Its gonna be one of these, lets go find out which one..."

Thanks again

I have an ace here with the best nut/bolt selection in the universe lol. They can care less if yoiu grab a handfull and come back in an hour. They have chrome, stainless, polished stainless, grade8, huge selection of metric 10.9 cap screws and washer faced bolts - easy to get spoiled

Lowes and Home Depot have crap for hardware. The local Ace store is has a very nice selection. They used to be really cool about just grabbing hardware and going out to the parking lot and such... All the elderly people around here kinda ruined that though, biggest theives around. They steal a handfull of nuts/bolts just to do it. The Ace store had installed camera's in the hardware aisle and immediately caught like 6 people over the age of 60 shoplifting pocket fulls of miscellaneous hardware.
Oh well, thats what we get for living in the U.S.'s retirement capitol

I just noticed they put a lock on the polished stainless and chrome bolt bins here. Probably a bunch of old guys rding around on their mowers with all polished stainless bolts in the neighborhood lol.

But yea, home depot and lowes pretty much suck for hardware. Its a shame that people keep stealing nuts and bolts because sooner or later ACE will just turn into the bagged individual overpriced sucky selection of hardware like the big chains

You aint jokin about that. Ace was closed yesterday so I went to Homo Depot for some stainless Allen cap screws for mounting my Kirkey seat... 4 each nuts, bolts, and washers... 1/4-20 thread = $45ish
