What's the best rear swaybar for drag racing?
I think its about time for a new rear swaybar on the car....was wondering if there was a good sway bar I should look into for drag racing and daily driving.
Will a thicker rear swaybar eliminate the need for an airbag in the right rear of the car??
Thx in advance guys!

There are some older Camaros/Firebirds that have a larger rear anti-sway bar. I don't have any part numbers but you could go to the dealer and measure diameters and compare. I would like to know a part number if you find out.

The Wolfe anti-rollbar kicks butt!
As far as street manners, it could become an issue due to the fact that it allows absolutely zero body roll in the rear of the car. If you do a lot of turning into steep driveways and such, the tabs that weld to the body of the car will be exposed to a good bit of stress. I've put plenty of "street miles" on mine with no issues, though.
Ground clearance isn't really affected by the Wolfe bar.
The Wolfe bar will eliminate any need to run an airbag in the RR spring.

pretty much what George said...
i do a lot of street driving with mine and dont mind it at all. i myself have a pretty steep driveway turn in that i have to take diagonally, and have gone up some pretty steep curbs/entrances and havent had any problems with the mounts ripping off. we made sure to put very good welds everywhere we could on the brackets

How does it handle on the street? I know it's obviously not an autocross sway bar but how does it handle in corners going fast? I am trying to see if it's so close to a regular sway bar in cornering that the slight trade off might be worth it. If it sucks bad in cornering, I wont get one.

Wow! $380 seems like a lot for just the rear sway bar, but I guess it's worth it.
Am I going to have issues if I ever decide to go autocrossing with one of these badboys?
I don't mind losing some street mannerism I guess I just don't want to lose it all
I might just be better off going with Hal Shocks and an upgraded street type sway bar.

I think PST make a a bigger solid rear swaybar, you could try it and also use poly d-rings and endlinks.
The Wolf bar IMHO is a race piece since it's got not bushings.
BMR drag bar is very nice I've thought about getting it.

According to what I was reading in the BMR instructions, "You can expext a significant increase in oversteer." Meaning it won't take much to get the rear squirrely because there is little give or side-to-side movement.

If you're looking for something inexpensive, a factory 1LE rear swaybar is a pretty good upgrade from stock...
