I guess i need to change my sig again....
Went to E-town last night.... and it was pretty typical... HORRIBLE TRACK PREP!!!
But, I did manage a new best..
60':1.44
330:4.12
1/8:6.41
mph:107.44
1000:8.39
1/4:10.09
mph:132.35
not too bad for coming out @ only 4000rpm and sliding all over that skating rink of a race track.
I only got in 2 runs....that was the first.... the second run was a 16.25@41mph (lifted just after the 60'... car got out of shape and almost hit the wall...(that was definitely worth an undie change)
I should be hittin Island on Sunday (If the weather holds) and maybe I can peel off that 9.

boo-boo: I'm using a TNT 150 wet shot
Reckless: I wish I could... But It's kinda far for me. Maybe next year after the job relocates me to Kansas City (should be in august)

Well....
I made it to Island on Sunday....I think I should have stayed home...
First run was a continuation of Wednesday night at e-town... There was an oil down in my lane 3 cars before me ... and no...they didn't get it all off the track...
I came out at 5200 on the brake and it stuck pretty good (1.43)... but right after the 60' the car blew the tires off and almost hit the guard rail.... I come around to the time shack after my blistering 18.9@32mph (waving to the crowd, having a good ol' time)...they tell me to go make another run...that the track wasn't ready........ so.... I pull around and they take me right away...
NOT a wise move on my part.... The car was already @200degrees .....the end result...pegged the temp gauge and boiled the coolant....steam EVERYWHERE!!!!...(the happy gas makes ya run a little on the warm side )
Upon further inspection....no radiator damage...just a toasted catch can (overflow).... But I haven't looked at the oil yet....hopefully there is no coolant in there.... I'll keep ya posted if I toasted the block
