Default Holeshot Project 2.0 to 1.6 60'

I'm working on getting my 60' down from 2.0 to 1.6 or better.

So far, I've changed (or will this week) the following:

BFG Drag Radials to M/T ET Streets
10 Bolt 3.73's to 12 Bolt 4.10's
Z06 Clutch to Star Spec 3 clutch
Hurst Roll Control line lock added
Stock Decarbons/springs up front to HAL's.
Removed BMR STB
Stock torque arm to BMR torque arm

What else can I do to improve from 2.0 60's to 1.6 60's?

a decent track and a 6000 rpm launch and you will be there easily. put the et streets at 12-13 psi hot and let the tire do the work. oh yea, and be ready to real fast!

Ditch the ET Streets in favor of some ET Drags. Drop the hammer off the rev limiter!

I managed to squeeze out a 1.95 60' launching at 5200rpm with:
26x10.5x16 ET Streets (No spinning) & 17x9.5 ZR1's up front.
stock 3.42 rear end
Star Stage3 Carbon Clutch
Stock Decarbons with Hotchkis Lowering springs
All Stock Torque Arm, LCAs, etc

I then went ahead and made the following changes
26x8.5x15 ET Drags & Skinnies
Moser 9" rear w/4.11 gears
BMR Trak-Pak Torque Arm (set @ -3deg), Panhard Bar, Tubular LCA's. all poly bushings.
Airbag in Right Rear Springs @ 35psi

I cut a 1.70 60' launching at 5500rpm with that setup on motor.
Then came back and launched off a 75 shot of gas and picked up the wheel about an inch, but let off the gas just as soon as it came off the ground (feels WIERD) I coasted past the 60' marker and got a 1.86 60'. These are the only two passes i've gotten on the car since the new work, and neither were exactly "great."

Now i've gone through and put on a full set of HAL shocks all the way around along with the stock Springs front and rear. I'm hoping to knock down into the low 1.6x, maybe high 1.5x 60's the next time out on motor. If not, a 150shot of gas out of the hole should get me there or the 26" drags. You shouldn't have any problems getting there.

- Remove your front swaybar
- Drain your washer fluid
- Set your HALs to full soft
- Find a set of used V6 rear springs in a junkyard for $10

I went from 2.1 60-foots on F1's to 1.7 60-foots on ET Streets at Indianapolis Raceway Park, which is notoriously slick on test-n-tune nights. Good luck!

I've gotten a best of 1.71 and usually get low 1.7's in my IROC on BFG drag radials at Milan (which is known for poor track prep and traction). It's got Spohn LCA brackets, LCA's, panhard, and a Jegster TQ arm.

What kind of burnout do you do w/ the drag radials and what psi do you run them at???

For the sake of cost, I'd just try some LCA brackets and LCA's and run the drag radials @ 20 psi and do a good 5 sec burnout after rolling through the water box. If that doesn't work, the ET Streets will obviously help and I think the TQ arm would too.

I haven't had a chance to install the line lock, so I've been spinning the drag radials for like 1.5 seconds up to the line and running 17lbs psi.

The line lock, et streets and torque arm (with HALs all around) should help, I hope!
