Default I installed the 29.5X10.5-15s M/T ET Drags

Took off the 28" Hoosiers and installed the 29.5" M/T's. I did this without mini-tubbing. Has anyone else done this without mini-tubbing? Took a little work but they fit.

I will be using 27" or 28" slicks for n/a passes and these 29.5's for nitrous.

I will try to get some better pics during the daylight tomorrow.

I can barely keep my 28 et drags from rubbing at the big end. How much material did you remove from the fenders (front and rear)? I'd like to see a picture of those areas.

Bet it looks mean with all that tire in there.

I removed about an inch off the front and 1.75" off the rear. And a BFH!

I will try to get some better pics tomorrow.

Damn, that's a big *** tire to fit in there without mini tubbing. I think it might still rub some as they swell?

I've run 30x10.5 M/T and Hoosier without mini tubing. Just like you BFH mod, cut the bottom part of the quarters. Now with the mini's I'm going to be running the M/T DR 315x60x15's

1st picture is of the new tires and mini tub
2nd is just prior to the mini, with the Hoosier 30x10.5

Thanks for the pics David. Good comparison.

I think I left enough room for tire expansion so maybe it will not rub.

Tony, when you get more pics... Try to get some that show where you cut as clearly as possible.

If been considering cutting some material out of mine (so far only the lip off the bumper cover) but didnt think people were cutting through the outer skins... But to take 1.75" off the front you'd have to cut through the pretty part

I only removed about 1" off the front bottom. The rear takes a little more. I took 1.75" off the rear.
