You looking for the LS1 DR record or the DR record in general. No LS1 is going to touch the DR record for a while.

i doubt its 8's or 9's

more than likely just around low 10's(Tom Izzo-10.10 on nittos) or maybe upper 9's
we have a ways to go before we catch those stangs that runs 8's or so on drag radials! They have about a 10 year head start and about 5000 cars trying for it

You just dont see many LS1's out there like you do 5.0's and etc

Ive seen a guy in a 35th ann. SS go 10.59 with heads cam and spray(TNT, not sure how much) on 315 Nittos. His car was full weight with a stereo system and cage to boot. It was quite impressive. I think he post here every now and then. Maybe he will speak up.

My best on DR with full weight, swaybar attached and heavy 11" TT2's is 11.78 at 114.77

Oh, by the way, if you are going to Norwalk for the COFBA track rental, I will be there on slicks on Friday (IF THE WEATHER IS GOOD!). However, I will bring the DR's for a few runs.

Once again, if the weather is iffy or the air just sucks, I am saving my vacation day...not a cop-out, I just don't want to tow 4 hours for rain or crappy weather.

Red 01 Formula WS6 (clone)...looking at the weather, I doubt if any of us will be there on Friday or Monday. If the weather is real iffy, my buddy (Turbo Regal) and I won't be coming down. Look for me at Stanton on occassion, too. Car is the stock internals / bolt-on record holder which is why you might recognize the name, but, now it's a heads/cam car. Take care.

The DR record is an 8.47 @ 167 mph!!! It was done by a Mustang Coupe on BFG's.

The records is alittle faster than that now. I heard Big Daddy went in the 8.3's recently on drag radials, there is a bigblock Nova in the 8.2's on drag radials...hell, a Supra ran 8.46 @ 167 on drag radials a few weeks ago. Thats movin!

OH. I thought maybe Speed Inc went 10.7 on radials and the 10.1 was on slicks.
