Default Stock length rear + Bogarts + 295's = ???

Would that combo fit without minitubs or what needs to happen? Are the 295's a lot narrower than 325's?

Here is where I'm at with the 325's:

295's are only 3cm narrower than 325's from sidewall to sidewall. Are the 325's rubbing?

i hope. i have some 295/65 hoosiers in the garage waiting to go on. I think they should be just over 1'' narrower than the 325's

I think you might need to trim the wheel well some since the tire is taller.

I'm running stock rear 99 springs, Moser 9", and no coil spring cups. The top most spring is sleeved with radiator hose.

Hmmm. I guess I'll have to buy a set and see what it takes. Anyone have a set of the older Weld's that are 7" backspace like Derty used to have, I could run those and suck the tires in a bit but I'll have to minitub which is no big deal.

I have the 315/60s/15 on my formula and they are 30" tall (Actually a little taller than my 30" tall Goodyear slicks). The front and the back of the wheel well opening needs to be trimmed. Thats the big problem since the 295/65 is the same height, 30" and It's only 1" narrower. Without the mini tub I don't think you can drop the body over the tires, even with the slightly skinnier 295.

Would be even harder on a narrowed rear car then.

Why? Seems like it would be easier to fit them with a narrowed rear and better selection of offsets. My rear is narrowed and I have stock fender wells....just hammered some. I ran 325's tucked and I now run 29.5 x 10.5's for a class and they are tucked about an inch up in the fender well. I did use a spare bumper and trim it for the 29.5's though.

I need to pick up a set of the 295 MT's but I can't seem to find them. I may just pick up a set of the 315's from Madman when he gets back to me.

Narrowed 3" per side.

29.5s are on 15 x 10 5.5"BS Pro stars w/ a .25" spacer. 325/50's are on Aluma star 15 x 10 5"BS and no spacers. I'm not sure which rim I will run the 295 or 315's on when I swap over. Right now my class only allows 10.5" max. measured width for the tread no matter if its a slick or drag radial.

Were the same.

I ran the 325's tucked in over an 1" on mine. Im narrowed 3" also.

Now the 295's are sappossed to be the equivalant to a 30X12.50 were the 325's are a 28X13.50.

My fender wells are more then hammered. I would say pounded and massaged LOL
Ive also cut thru the first layer to open it up the the frame rail.
Id like to see if i can fit them.

John from the sound of it you might not need these tires just yet with that conference call coming up.

I guess we'll see Kyle anything can happen there.

I was eyeballing my setup, and I'm wondering if I had to narrow the rear one inch just to tuck in what I have? I have some Wolfe minitubs sitting here in a box so that's not an issue. Besides that's one of only two mods the car doesn't have, I have everything else. I also don't have an electric water pump.

What offset are the rims on your car now?

Minitubs would let you tuck the tire in even more and save you some weight too

Stock offset Bogarts. I'm just going to run on a 28x10.5S and deal with the tire issue last.

PSJ, you'll love the 295's. dlove pretty much sumed it up what is necessary. I too am running stock coils but I'm not running any "hose" mod or the factory rubber bucket. I used to run the MT 28w's similar in size to your dr's. I had very little massaging to do to fit the 295's over them, just a bit more hammering the front inside. The car 60' better, picked up a lil' mph and et and goes down the highway WAYYYY better. I've put probably 600+ street miles and over 25 passes on them and I'm just now getting them "smooth" I don't have any real good still shots but here is an action one from a spectator that got posted last week....
