Biggest Drag Radial On a 10" Rim
What is the biggest drag radial that we can fit on a 15x10 wheel? I am running the Bogart D-10s and want to try out a 315 or larger.
Thanks,

Re: Biggest Drag Radial On a 10" Rim
I think you emailed me, anyway.. I ran 325/50/15's for a couple years and they look awesome, the fenderwell only took moderate beating, and I had to roll the fender lip (did it myself with a louisville slugger). This year I went with 315/60/15 drag radials and it took major work. Had to cut the front of the fender lips back about 1-1/4" and I took at least an 1" off the rear bumper cover.. I had to beat the living **** out of the fenderwells, the 30" tire just doesn't fit in a hole designed for a 26" tire.. My recommendation is for the 325/50/15 unless you want to cut/weld/bondo/paint the rear quarters (as required for 315/60/15's)
good luck!
good luck!

Re: Biggest Drag Radial On a 10
would you get a bigger contact patch if you put the 325 on a 12" rim? As a radial has a straighter sidewall then a slick, so maybe you could run a wider rim?

Maybe, but I already invested in the 15x10s, so I am going to stick with those for now...it looks like I will be running the 325/50/15s.
