Default qa1 and stock spring ?

the front qa1's R series can be used with the stock spring correct? i was getting ready to order and wanted to make sure

Yes they can, I have stock springs on my QA1's, but you need to buy either an modified stock spring cup of one of the billet pieces from BMR or similar.

I don't know the exact measurements but what you need to do is remove material from the center until the resulting hole is the same diameter as the new shock tube.

this site was one of the reasons i even thought about getting one, how do you like it?

as for the spring cup.... that seems fairly easy to do, and ill save some $

I run the stock perches on QA1 shocks, it has worked well like that for 6 or so years. It is correct that all you need to do is remove some material and make the inside diameter larger. I believe I used a die grinder to do this. A word of advice, get the thrust bearing kit with the shocks, it is almost impossible to make on car adjustments without them.
