How much does heat AND humidity affect times?
Went out Saturday for some practice runs. Temps started out in the upper 80's, with about 80% RH. My best run for the day was an 11.44 @121. This was with a sorry *** 1.69 60'. I have added new headers, and dropped a little weight since my best run of 11.37@122. My previous best was run in temps of around 45 to 50 degrees, with an RH of around 30%. How can I tell if the car is running faster? Trap speed was down an average of 2.5mph, and ET's were down an average of 1 to 2 tenths in this hot weather. Can somebody help me out here. I don't have DA's but the track elevation is around 450 feet. Even though I couldn't hook up for ****, I would like some opinions on the temp and humidity effects.
Thanks guys

im beting you see some 11.1-2's for sure this fall! Just the difference from 40's up to 80's is about 3 tenths.. espcially if its humid out. Wait till this fall and then judge your setup

I went from an 11.8 on a humid non hooking night to an 11.6, and gained 3mph..
I don't bother to race in the middle of summer anymore, unless its a cool day...spring and fall is where you get your best times..
