Saw a Ford Focus go 12.99 at Milan.... and am unimpressed. Not so much with the car, because the people put a new cobra engine and drivetrain in it which is pretty sweet. They said it was producing 500hp +. But the fact that they had oversized rims and low profile tires, and the lack of a line lock for the six speed, really frustrated(sp?) me 
. I mean why spend all that money to change the car and don't due the little things that make such a huge difference 
. One more thing that made the car a lot slower than it should of been were the drivers (4 of them to be exact) not one of them did a good burnout or could shift worth a damn. With the two changes I mention above I think this car could be in the 10's. thanks for reading and sorry so long

Re: Saw a Ford Focus go 12.99 at Milan.... Yeah the whole time I was there, I was thinking about asking them if I could drive it, and see what it could do. the 12.99 they hit only happened once most of the night they were around 13.25.

Re: Saw a Ford Focus go 12.99 at Milan.... They were getting really crappy traction they proably spun for the first 100-150 ft. but I think they were trapping around 110-113 not positive but I think it was around there.

While they are pretty cool (but really expensive), they seem to be geared more towards someone that just wants a fun, powerful, unique car. They aren't setup with drag racing in mind. I'd have to think if it were, it would be a real monster on the strip!

Re: Saw a Ford Focus go 12.99 at Milan.... I agree with GeorgeC. Either way, they should be in the low 11's for sure. They should be ashamed of themselves for running high 12's and low 13's. That's flat out embarrassing.
