Default my final purchases to go for 10's were made today.

15*10 prostars and 27*11.5 quick time pro's

a spohn tq arm with front loop and a spohn adj. phr.

i figure if i can put these together to come up with a 1.6 short time im there... and a few extra pounds of boost for good measure

questions.. is the pinion angle obvious to set.. for a manual car should i go -3 or -4* and does it matter that the car is lowered for that setting?

i wanted the 28" tires but i have enough gear (3.73) to get to 133mph with the 27's and the fit under the car will be overly tight as-is.. hopefully no cutting aside from the calipers and a little fender well clearancing..

what do you guys think? am i leaving anything out?.. should i get a set of airbags in? i really dont want to put the stock springs back in back. also what kind of times are manual guys cutting with these 11.5 quicktime drag dot tires?

i have the hal's around with their springs in front. 2 step launches of course

comments appreciated.
Dave

I'm running the same rims and tires on the back...click on my name to the left and look at my webshots..

There was A LOT of grinded needed on both sides...
The bump stops had to be completely grinded off, that took some time...

A little pounding on the inside of the fender wall cleared the inner front of the tire...

Also I'm running extended studs because I grinded to the point to where they cleared with the 5/16 spacer...

Its involved, but well worth it when your done...

My best short time was a 1.54 with the 27 x 11.5 Hoosier QTPs.

NICE!!! I love the way those Pro Stars look on T/A's. Now get out there and burn those things in!

Man your car looks sweet... Did you have any issues with clearance? When are you going to the track to shoot for 10's.

i worked on the wastegate problem all day today with no progress.. i will have to try another spring or another gate all together before its good for a few more mph to get me there.
