i need help doing burnout in an a4!?
i have a hard time getting the tires to spin really good during my burnout! i have been thinking about it and i think i'm pushing the on the brakes as hard as i can! am i hitting the brakes too hard?? should i just lightly hold them? the car has plenty of power so it has to be me!! see sig

Just put a light touch on the brake you will feel them catch and thats enough to hold it while its burning out.

like gillbot said and after your burnout and when you stage,idle her up to 1500 and on last yellow smash it. keep about 18ps1 in those nittos hot. you sould 60ft way better than what you are with your mods. my friend cut a 1.58 with the same mods you have . you have a lot left in that car. Jason

Apply brakes (or line lock).
Put transmission in "1", apply gas quickly to 5000+ RPM, then shift to "2". Maintain RPM until you see tire smoke, then release gas and brakes/linelock. You will gently roll forward.
Also--don't forget to move shifter to D. Ask me how I know!
Don't do this on street radials, by the way. You'll wear them out needlessly.
