Biggest tire I can fit on a 15x10 w/7.5 BS
What's the biggest tire I can run on a 15x10 wheel w/7.5" of backspacing. I'd like to run the biggest tire I can without having to do any work to the inner fenders, and without the tires rubbing. I was thinking a 27x11 maybe. What do you guys think?

I have a 15x11 with a 28x10 on mine. I did have to cut off the bump stop though, but it was nothing major to make them fit. On a good track, a 28x10 should be plenty for your car, there are Mustangs running high 7's with these tires, you shouldn't need bigger.

I know I don't need bigger, but I'm wanting to know the biggest tire I can run on that wheel, with no modifications to the fenders. I don't want to have to roll the fenders, or beat on anything.

I have run a few different setups on the rims you are asking about... Here are my experiences...
26x12.5x15 ET Streets - only grinded calipers
28x11.5x15 Hoosier slicks - also had to cut back the rear bumper, bend and almost completely remove the bump stop, deburr and hammer in the front inner fender at the bottom, hammer in the fender well up high where the tire makes contact.
From what I can see I think the 27" Hoosier stuff should fit okay.
I also ran 15x8/5.5/28x9x15 ET Drags (27.3 tall) and they fit without any modifications too.
28's will for sure require cutting and hammering.

Base on the same subject of wheel fitting with a tall tire--Can you run a 28X9X15 (Hoosier Slick)on a Bogard wheel 15 by 9 without any fitment problems?
