Well, I didn't even think about it when I ordered, but I have 3.73's in my Moser, which basically means I have a 3 series carrier.....which also means that NO ONE makes 4.30's in a 3 series carrier. For some reason you can get 4.10 and 4.56 in a 3 series, but not 4.30's.
So, I'm going to order 4.10's instead since 4.56 may be a bit much for daily driving and I'm not going to spend the money on a new 4 series carrier for that small of a difference.

Thanks Coach! I still haven't finalized it for sure, but I just can't imagine 4.56s being streetable at all. I wouldn't even be able to utilize 1st or probably even 2nd gear on the street I don't think.
With the 4.10's I still retain some top end for highway fun, and will still have some sort of traction if I ever add some spray to the car for fun.
But I'm still pondering 4.56's ....so maybe you all can convince me

I love my 4.56's. Very daily driveable, IMO - I did. You can even take off in 2nd gear. But if you're in to stoplight street racing (which I am not), fuhgetaboutit. The tires would just boil.
I'm dropping back to 4.30's to run the juice, tho. With the stock motor I was at the edge, trapping ~122 on the juice (28" ET Drags / 4.56's). With the new motor I expect to be a little quicker.

You are going to have a hard time hooking on 4.10s and ET streets unless the track and your suspension is setup very well. I went 1.58 spinning on ET streets and 4.10s. With ET drags cut a best of 1.50 still spinning for 10-12 feet.

I have a full rear suspension minus shocks, and a thick rear sway bar or airbag.
Other than that the car should hook (I hope). The tracks out here suck badly. Its about time for ET drags anyway.

I ended up buying Strange 4.11's... Strange gears in a Moser rear end sounds kinda wierd...like a Ford rear end in an Fbody .
I decided to get the 4.11's over the 4.56's because of gas mileage since I do a lot of highway driving, no traction on the street w/ 4.56's, I can still wind out 4th gear to a shade over 130mph for streeet fun, and when I add forced induction, I'll still be able to muster some traction, and won't run out of gear at the track.
I'm also selling my ET streets and 16x8 rims in favor of slicks/drag wheels on the back. I'm determined to hit 1.5x 60fts with that aluminum flywheel.
