Best street tire for hooking up?
I know most people don't race with a street tire at the track.I will be racing in a few weeks and one of the rules of the class is no dr's,et streets or et drags. The tires will be mounted on a 17 inch rim.
If you could, list what 60' times you got with those tires, combo and hp/tq numbers. Thanks in advance.

LOL, pretty much nothing is correct.
However, going to something such as a BFG KD would be the most agressive tire you could get, but not considering a "competition" tire.

Re: Best street tire for hooking up?
i cut a 1.74 on dunlop 8000's @ 25PSI on 17x9 rims. Tires were 275/45/17's
dunno my dyno numbers, but im guesing 360ish hp cam only. That run/60 got me a 12.01
but i have a A4 for its easy to feather/floor the gas to get the perfect bite and not break loose

look into the kumho race tire that is kinda considered a drag radial, except it isn't "listed" as one. THAT would be your best bet
