164.35 MPH! I'm Telling Ya, that Silver Z is Flying!!!
The ARE Silver Z Ran a few passes today, all in the 8.80's but went 164 + a few times!!! This car is on a mission! Still fighting Trans problems, but it was charging top-end even though it was hot & humid.... Taner also ran some great times with his 9.60/9.70 bracket 6 speed LT1 car, good driving bro!

Re: 164.35 MPH! I'm Telling Ya, that Silver Z is Flying!!!
i'd REALLY be curious what that could do with a ladderbar setup on true 10.5" tires
i bet with a better tranny and a well prepped track you could hit some 8.40s
That is a HELL of a number on 10" tires and only 5 years of engine development.
---on another note, not to undermine your abilities but back in the day there was a shop up in new jersey that had a torque arm equipped stock suspension type 3rd gen that went into the 8.20s. I dont know if you are having any type of suspension problems but you really seem to be able to make the power, maybe just for your own benefit contacting him and pestering a few questions couldn't hurt your situation at all. Just a humble suggestion.
i just wish i could remember the shop name...i can email a friend and ask though for you if you'd like

We have estimated the car at 3200lbs and 164 mph is in the 1050-1090 rwhp range! Is there More?!??!!
