Default ET Streets tubes or no tubes?

Do they need tubes? There on 16 X 8 rims. What pressure should I run them at?

For track only you don't need them IMO.

No tubes until the first nail or screw. Then tubes.

I am not running them now b/c I dun like the look of the screws on the wheels. BUT when/if I start having problems I'll screw em and tube em.... I might do it anyway.... I have a set of MT tubes in my shop now.

you dont need tubes to screw your tires to the rims. Oh and I dont use tubes in any of my cars anymore....to many problems with tubes to hassle with them.

I'm running Convo Pro 15x7.5 rears w/ 26x10.5 MT ET streets, and the rear feel like "floating" going down the track; somebody suggests to me to run tubes to get rid of that floating feel.

Anyone else have similar suggestion or experience on this?

Try running a bias ply tire in front. Sounds like you are running a radial in front and that will make the rear tires float around.

sited12, you're right - I'm running 17" wheels w/ radials on the fronts....look like I'm going to save the money on tubes to get skinnies then.

thanks

Sonny, get the skinnies. Also, what pressure are you running them at? Some times if you go to low on tire pressure they'll feel like they are floating.
