Re: Anyone have any results with the Strange Drag shocks?
launching soft i did 3 straight 1.33s a couple weekends ago on them. this weekend i expect to see 1.2s. they are just as good as the Hals in my opinion, just tons cheaper. at both my local track and the track i was running at that night, the #3 setting worked best on my combo. the strange shocks just have 2 less adjustments, but cover the whole range you would ever need. they are both rebuildable, both adjust with an external ****. the Strange have a steel body instead of aluminum like the Hals, but didnt feel any heavier than them in my hands, possibly even a tad lighter. i got mine from Jay Billingsley at http://www.billingsleyracing.biz/index.htm for $60 each. havent seen them cheaper anywhere else. Summit wants $75 for them

I know you must be a good driver and have an excellent setup from the times you have run in the past. With adjustable shocks you can adjust for various track conditions or HP or torque upgrades in the future plus weight reduction/additions to the car. I sincerely believe with adjustable shocks front and back, you will run even faster times with tweaking of the suspension. With adjustments you are ready for that faster time. Just my two cents. Good luck in the decision process. Cheers.

chevyguy: so you run the front strange shocks also? I saw where the fronts where 104 bucks though? I see the rear's for 60 though. I was wondering if the fronts worked as well cause I dont see paying 170bucks for front HALS
if all 4 are 60bucks then thats a hellova deal

Jeff, you can check on the pricing if you want(I dunno part numbers). Maybe we could get a GP this fall or something on them for everyone
But I guess I gotta get Hals for the front anyway now LMAO. Im gonna see how my traction is this fall and if I need better weight transfer
