Default need an easy tenth

car is a '01 formula A4 w/3,600 vig/ 3.73s/ pulley-lid-smooth bellows-gmafs. Car has all the good susp stuff and tires (1.57 60'). I'm running 12.03- 12.10 and want 11.99. I do take everything out of the trunk and run at 1/4 tank. Thanks

wait for perfect weather conditions. and if u get 1 thenth off the sixty that adds up to about 2 tenths in the 1/4. check out the weight reduction list at the top. see what u dont want in ur car for free mods

Take the seats out before you go to the track. That should buy you a tenth if you don't mind the work. You can relocate the battery to the trunk to help the 60' too.

Every 100 lbs is about .1 off you 1/4. It's gonna take more than your back seats. lol I would just wait for some cooler air temps, or depending on where you are, take a road trip to a lower altitude track.

Temp makes a huge difference
Hit the track early some chilly morning at a test/tune event

I managed to drop from 12.0 to 11.8 that way last week
Near-0 DAs kick ***.

yup...yank some worthless weight out too if you haven't already like the spare/jack, all seats except drivers, front sway...I'd bet that coupled with some favorable weather will get you those 11.90s

bypass the power steering, that alone will give you more than .1

every little bit helps... remove as much weight that u find fitting... go on a good air day... and drive the hell out of the car... plus a damn good burnout
