Default calculating mph for gear/tire combo?

OK so I cross the traps at 6600-6700 this past sat on 28" tires.

all i need to know is how to figure out what i would cross at with 1" smaller tires, a 27" tire instead.

help?

Sean you have a 3.70, you can run that to 7000 according to the calculators to 158, but for your purposed mid 140's are fine for your current setup.

I assume you want to know how-much the RPM will increase, switching from 28" tires to 27" tires, with everything-else remaining constant?

All you need is a $5 calculator:
28 divided-by 27 = 1.037

6600 x 1.037 = 6844

6700 x 1.037 = 6948
