Default not a ls1...suspension reccomendations?

Racing 1/8 mile the car has been a 1.66 60', 6.46 660' at 116 mph. The link below is a pass from the same day leaving with more boost. Front strange struts were set as loose as possible, qa1 rears were 2-3 clicks from the tightest. From what I have gathered on feedback I need to tighten the fronts some and loosen the rears, in a attempt to slow the weight transfer to the rear and plant the rear tires harder. 325-50-15 drag radial at about 18 psi, car leaves on 7-8 psi(anymore it spins), and 20 psi down the track on a stock motor. Thanks

How is the valving on the front strut? It looks like it is the same as the "F" series QA1 shocks, when you set it loose it is easy to go up and down.

What type of suspension pieces do you have?

I would soften the rear shock to number 5-6 and tighten the fronts to #3, and if you have an anti roll bar on the car preload the passenger side more.

It went alittle better, needs a rollbar for sure. The car would not leave without spinning untill I kept loosening up the rears untill they were at 3 from all the way loose, the fronts were at 5.

It looks like it is planting the tire good, I think an anti roll bar will help it a lot.

what was your 60 ft last time and this time and what was your ET/MPH last time and this time? Looked like a low 1.5

What rear springs do you have?

You could try an air bag in the right rear until you get an anti roll bar.

I'd leave the front shocks where they are and get an anti roll bar, beside the body roll I thought it was a really good improvement.

The rear shock seems too soft to me, you might have the wrong spring in it. If you look when the car leaves the tire plants better but the tire is bouncing up and down some, a stiffer in the rear will help that.

If you're getting wheel hop and if it spins with the shock stiffer, I would weigh the car and make sure the spring are right. I think you might have the wrong rate or might need to adjust the intersection point some.

Looks better though congrats keep the tuning up it is working better.

Buy a double adjustable wolfe one you won't break that on the street.
