Front Tires
I see some f-bodies that tuck the front tire a lot, how are you that have the tires tucked in a good amount do it?
Shorter a-arms? Struts? k-member? elongate the top a arm holes?
I want to tuck my front tires in about an inch or so, however far it is to make the sidewall even with the body panels.

Alot has to do with the offset of your rims. Mine set in about .5 inches on mine but I have after market rims. The size and type of tire has a little to do with it depending on if it's to wide for the rim or it has a more bubbled out sidewall

Ive got aftermarket 18s in the front... i think the answer to your question has to do with the spacers/spacing of the brakes inside the wheel. A difference in the offset of the wheel determines how far the wheel/tire will stick out.

In my experience is all in the backspacing.... most people will run 1 3/4 B/S... there are wheels that are 2.3 B/S.. over a 1/2" difference. Biggest problem: the 2.3 will not fit stock brakes without grinding the crap out of the calipers or using a spacer which defeats the purpose of the 2.3" B/S.

I just tucked mine another 1/4 inch. ET Street Billets with 1 3/4 BS. I could probably go another 1/4in but it would be deadly close by then.

I am not talking about changing the rims or offset size. I already know that.
I am talking about drag cars where the tires are tucked in close to or more than 2" over stock.
I am tucking my rear tire in about 1.5 - 1.75" from the fender lip and want the front to be tucked in some so that the side wall of the tire is even with or sits in a little behind the body .
Do they make shorter a-arms, or would that be from custom k-members/custom upper arm?
Also with the strange drag brakes is there a difference in offset on the mounting point or do they set the tire out at the stock location?
About the same as in the photo.
