time for a sway bar: Spohn or BMR
Hey guys, i know its been beat to death but i cant make my mind up. My car wont see alot of street time but when it does i dont want any issues. The Spohn seems to be the cheapest but which one works the best? My car has bmr everything on it but if i get a good deal on the Spohn and it works just as good that is the way i will go. Which one are you guys running. I am planing on the car getting in the 9's at some point, just so you know. Thanks guys Charles

I bought the Spohn drag swaybar and the difference was night and day from the toothpick stock one. My car used to leave like the leaning tower of pizza. Look at the pic in my sig she is dead on level. The unit is 20lbs heavier than stock but worth the penalty plus this weight is right on the axel.

I bought the Spohn unit.
Reason I went with it is the chassis mounts. You can bolt it in where the stock mounts are and use the bolts as additional support on top of the welding.
I also welded the mounting brackets (still used the U bolts) to the 12 bolt, they shifted on me when I hit a bump.
All said and done

Only thing I don't like about the spohn is the u bolts that are still used to attach it to the rear. I went with a wolfe myslef mainly because it's a fully welded on piece, which I think if you're at the point of needing a good drag bar is the right way to go. The wolfe is also built off a single strait bar that does all the flexign, so the liklyhood of that tweaking over time I think would be less then a piece of metal that was heated and bent to it's shape.
I'm sure they all work fine though.

the spohn gets my vote. both are close in price but the spohn is easier to install as it bolts to the frame where the old links went so it makes it easier to weld if your doing it by yourself.
also you can and should weld the u-bolt mounts to the axle ( like in the picture above)
then they wont move
