Default Rear Coil Overs & Mini-Tub?

When Mini-Tubbing, can you do a rear coil over set-up (like the one from Spohn), or does too much of the shock mounting area get cut out?

You cut out the Spring area. You can do a coil over. It does not cut the shock area

It depends on how far you end up going, if you use a 16" fender to frame cut it will leave plenty of the spring area.

I am guessing you are talking about using the coil over and spring that mount in the hole behind the factory spring mount and it attaches where the factory shock bolts in.

Yes that kit will work with a mini tub.

The part which you have to work with most to get tire clearance is the lower control arm, that is where the tire will hit first.

Check out my post on mini tubbing it has a lot of photos of mine and also the new weight reduction I weighed what mini tubbing saves in weight.
