I put in a set of kirkey's, and the seats and 2 5 ot harnesses were chepaer then one of those seats. Plus those will probably look a little rice in an f body.

Here:

http://www.mainstreamtopics.com/~scr...%20Ws6%20Pics/

pic's of the rollbar install and kirkey seat install. I'm 6'3 275 lbs and the seats are part # 41700, and I fit in them fine. I fidn it more comfortable then the stock seats because I was able to mount them lower and a little farther back, so my knee isn't on the dash anymore.

Mine are from RCI. The aluminum ones with the vinyl covers. They weigh 13lbs with the brackets.

I bought them with the brackets already on there from a buddy of mine & the seats came with his roller. I'm not sure if they are RCI's or custom.

I drive 90 miles one way to the track in mine, race all day, and then drive home. They are actually aren't that bad.

Wow that's quite a deal on those F1 seats (free shipping and brackets) I think they look good but the question is comfort. I want a set of seats like these too and no they really don't look like rice, its called a racing seat for a car that doesn't just go straight. I've sat in some sparco's and they were amazing but at 500+ a set plus brackets that could be ruff. If you get these F1 seats post up pics and a review on them, would love to hear!!

You've got to be pretty hard-core to look for weight savings in .100" aluminum. I've got the same Kirkeys, and they are damn comfortable!

+1 I've done some searching on this, and everything seems to be a year or two old. Has anyone come out with a bracket for these yet, or are they all custom fabbed?

They are all going to be custom. No-one makes a kirkey bracket for an f-body. If you're hardcore enough to put aluminum race seats in your car, you should be hardcore enough to build some brackets.

do a search for next racing seat brackets. That should get you going in the right direction on making seat brackets.
