Default Possible Times?

I'm hoping this is in the right section so don't kill me if it isn't. I plan on taking my car to the track for the first time on this coming wednesday. My question to you guys is what do you think I will run and whats a good stall speed? My mods are all the bolt-ons, 228/230 114 lsa cam, yank ss 3600 stall. I will run on my street tires and borrow a friends e/t streets. Yep i'm a newb to the track so trying to get all the info I can. Thanks

Should run in the 11's on drag radials, on street tires I wouldn't expect it to go all that great.

As for stall speed thats up to you and what your car likes, I would try 1500, 2k, and 2500 and if yous car will hold at 3k without breaking the beams give that a shot to, mine likes 2k and 2500 best

Cool. I'll try 1500 for the first run since i'll be on street tires and a little higher on drags

Try flashing the converter from off idle too. This also works for many cars and helps keep it simple on the starting line. And don't be afraid to to do a decent burnout to heat up the ET streets. Leave it in second gear for this, and bring it up to about 5k for a couple of seconds. Don't forget to leave on the last yellow and not wait for the green bulb. It helps make it look like you've done this before.
Plus if you want to cut some time off your et, you can pump your front tires up to 40lbs, run less than a 1/4 tank of gas, pull the front sway bar off, get rid of all the junk in your car, including floor mats, pull the spare and jack out, pull the winshield wiper fluid out, and lastly, if your not taking a passenger, pull that seat out. Takes about ten minutes and weighs about 30lbs.
Good luck and have fun.

You were right my friend. I couldn't stop spinning to save my life. The best time I ran was a 12.5 and that was spinning like hell. I will be looking for some dr's cause I want to see what it to live up to its potential. I was a little disappointed but with street tires what can you say.
