Default Rear mounted tranny cooler?

Seems like I'm running out of room to get adequate air flow with the FMIC and the forward placement of the radiator so I was thinking I could mount the tranny cooler in the rear away from the tires, anyone doing this? If so where you mounting it? I was thinking it might need to be a fan mounted cooler?

Fan mounted cooler you can mount any place. Maybe on the side of the frame in the front, with a fan on it you can mount it sideways since you're not depending on direct air flow.

What about on the plate that blocks off the heater box? I don't see many people putting stuff there and it has to be big enough for a transcooler.

Thanks those are good suggestions, and if you have a heater/AC delete then there would be alot of room there, I was palnning on putting my breather canister there. I imagine the engine bay will get pretty warm with the turbo in there though, and even though it has a fan, I would like to have some fresh air getting to it, or at least not putting hot air into it. My main concern is if I lose a line somehow, I don't put fluid under the tires.

.

They have a set up for dragsters. Try searching around, I'll look & post when I find who makes them.

There are several at Jegs & summit, check them out when you can.

Yeah, I searched Summit and found a couple nice coolers. I just need to find a placement now and figure out the size of the cooler that will fit. Will it hurt anything if the line to and from the cooler are longer.
