Default Tire Recommendation Please

Full weight 98 TA. 402, 13 psi procharger, average cam, ported heads, L5 4L60E, 3.42s/12 bolt, 3200 Vig multidisk. It made an even 600rwhp/605rwtq. Shift points are 6100. 3 passes to date are on 315/35/18s (essentially 26 in tire). Crap 60 foots of course (1.9x modulating the throttle all through 1st), 11.60@125. I go through the traps at right around 6k unlocked. I was about to go with a 26x10x15 ET drag, but I've gotten a few suggestions to go 27 or 28 and maybe even the MT Drag Radial due to the torque and A4. Any suggestions would be more than appreciated. THANKS!!!

325 50 15 M/T Drag Radial is what I would try.

With 125 mph I would think the car could go 10.80-10.90's

Either 325 50 15 or 275 60 15, don't waste your time with a 26" tire. As far as brand if you don't plan on driving them on the street much go Hoosier, otherwise go M/T.

Good info. Thank you. So nobody sees a problem with a 28 inch tire and only 3.42s?

28"s and 3.42's are fine if you have the power to push it through the lights at the rpm you need.

I know a friend of a friend running 315 60 15 drag radials and runs a 3.08 gear, but he makes a ton of power.
