Default Strut bar or not?

I have one on the car right now. The car is pretty much a track only car. Does the strut bar help out in anyway that can justifly leaving it on there. I bought some new silenoids and they are a little bigger than the last and the nitrous silenoid (actually the purge) hit the strut bar preventing me from installing them without bending so new hard lines. Heres a pic so you can understand what i'm talking about.http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g4...anifold001.jpg

Nah. When you get to a real fast point youll have a couple front bars that'll help it all

fwiw its a shock tower, not a strut tower. The 3rd gens had struts up front though!

Get rid of the strut bar. The bar adds stability when you turn corners...not many corners in drag racing.

I pulled it off. But I was under the impression that even though its for cornering, it helps tie the front end together reducing flex up there.

Not needed for drag racing. It is added weight.
