Default Another cage install question. Working on it now

Im in the prosess of installing my Wolfe 10 pt cage. The best I can figure the Main hoop is about 1/4 inch too short on the driver side. Going by Body measurements the best I can, And with the passangers side top side bar level the drivers ispointing up hill, towards thefront of the car by 1/4 inch.
What do i do? Can I shim it or is that a no no. Should I just leave it, Shouldnt throw anything off exept it looks kinda shitty.
THanks fellas

I wouldn't know why you couldn't weld another plate or however much is needed onto your floor plate on the short side to shim it up a little bit.

Thats waht I figured, I talked to a local guy that does cages and he didnt see why it would be a problem. I took a piece of 1/4 inch, Drilled 2 5/8 s holes in it and weled it and the holes to the plate. probebly the strongest part of the cage if you aske me

Make some outriggers and tie them into the subframes, you can install the outriggers above the floor so it'll raise the location where you weld it in.
