Driveshaft speed

I found Innovate motorsports has a split collar setup with 4 magnets that can be used to figure driveshaft speed. Costs ~$79. Any better options?

Yeah, a dual channel Autometer Ultimate II tach, but it'll run ya $400-$600.

Sounds good. I've got the software to turn on the speed odometer in my racepak so I'll just grab either the Innovate or the Edelbrock kit for 70, wire it up and call it a day. I'd love to have the ability to measure converter slip and some other stuff in the BS3 but I just can't justify the $600 right now.
