Default Is my et slow for my mods?(9.019@81.142mph) 2.107 60'

With my mods listed in the sig, is my car slow? Its seems i should be running faster times. i know i need to get some better tire for traction(17x11 rear with 315/35/17). They are musumoto rears which i dont know much about. I'm running stock 3.23's with a shift kit in the tranny. What do you guys think?

yes, I was cutting 8's with catback and air lid. get ur 60ft down, with all that suspention stuff u have on there u should pull into the 1.xx range with some nittos. I pulled a 1.99 60ft on futura gxt-II super sports and no mods done to the suspention.

Yeah, you have some serious problems. I have less mods than you (no MAF or pully), and I run low-mid 8s @ 86 in the 1/8th with the same crappy 60's (2.0-2.2).

I'd ditch the crappy MAF, and get the car autotapped. You might be running super lean or rich, lots of KR, or something. Are you at high elevation? Seriously, you should be faster than that bone stock.

yes, autotap is the answer. find a tuner and go to him. or find someone around u with autotap and a laptop and ask them to come over and u'll give them a 6 pack for helping u.

Dude you got some major problems...I went 8.82@82.8 with a 2.12 60ft bone stock! With those mods you should be you running at least 8.40 - 8.50 at about 85mph at least! I would autotap it and see if your timming is getting pulled back...I would also check the underdive pulley and Granitelli MAF they sometimes can cause false detonantion.

Is the Autotap easy to use? I think i might need someone to help me use it. Do i have to have the autotap running when i hit the strip or will it tell me what i need to know just by plugging it in? What version do i need? This is getting complicated!!!

Not all is possible the car's fault. MAF is not necessarly the problem. Tuning could be.

What kind of gas are you using. Is the car pinging? Add a "dash" of 104 unleaded race gas. This should help if you are getting any type detonation.

Track conditions? What kind of 315/35/17 tires? I am assuming A4 (with shift kit). No converter?

You need to find out what the engine is doing 1st. Find a buddy in the area that will A-tap it for you - should be someone locally.

If you have spent that much in all the mods you have, you really need to get your own Auto-Tap, lap top and possible the MAFT. Read the Tuning section.

I'll bet that it will not take very much before you are in the mid-to-low 8's. Practice is golden.

I'm not getting any kind of bad sounds....everything seems to be fine except for my time. I think i might get the Autotap...anyone know what vertion i need? Yes it is a A4 no converter yet. I have nitto's, 125 shot NOS, power programmer and a vig 3600-3800 tc on the way. I feel i should get this thing strait before i put anything else on it even if i have to buy the Autotap. What is a MAFT? Thanks for all you guys help! i will keep you updated!

I also have gears on order but might change that....have been hearing that i should leave that alone until i get a cam installed. I was thinking 4.10's or 3.73's But that might have to wait to get installed

My 2002 M6 ran 8.70's @ 82.5 on a 2.6 60ft time. Only mod was a "lid". On 245/50-16 Eagle RSA's....
