It's sealed airtight now ... just trying to save money ... had to dut out a section of the hood for the lid to fit, but, the clear lid I took off was an issue, as well. I love the way the lid fit to the tall lower airbox. It's snug and tight with no gaps at all. 4th lid and the only one to fit nicely like that.
