Default 28in. Tires + Moser 9" = rubbing on the fender.

Well, I've got my 9" in the car and now my tires are really close to the
rear part of the fender..the plastic part of the bumper.

It was like this with the stock rear, but now it is worse.
It is slightly closer on the passenger side.

Can this be remedied with Adjustable LCA's?
Would single adj. be fine or would I need the DA's?

Is there another way of dealing with this (without cutting)?

If the rearend is off center, first step is to get an adjustable PHB. I had that problem with my Formula. Now if you are rubbing the back, with the TA rear bumper, you can also try drilling a small hole in the bumper and pulling it back with some wire, it will move a little bit. Do you follow me?

Adjustable LCAs and PHB will fix some of the issue. I can walk you through the rest. Send me a PM.

I run the DA LCAs and PHB and this is just one reason why I think adjustability is key to a properly functioning suspension...Adjustable components allow you to center the rear, square the rear, center the tires in the wheel well, etc, etc...

With 28's you will need to recenter the rear to get them to fit, if they are a radial and you're lucky, you probably can get away without a whole lot of clearnace because they don't grow... but with a bias ply you will need to trim the inner edge of the bumper cover on the bottom to get it off the tire, because it is going to rub. You need to trim the inner lip off so that where the fender starts to turn in and "wrap" along the tire, that part that sits parallell with the tire's tread needs to go. I'd get you a picture of what I did but my car's at the chassis shop right now.

They are the radials.

PSJ, I already have the bottom lip pinned back with a zip tie as you described.

I also have an SA PHR.
I'm going to go ahead and order some adj. lca's
Do I NEED DA's, or will SA's be fine.

As long as they are adjustable they should be fine. Id get some rod ended ones for bind-free suspension travel.

I just did some quick browsing around at the different options I have.
What LCA's are you guys running?
J&M DA's are cheap in price, but how's the quality?
UMI has a SA for about $20 more...

I understand that having a rod end attached to the body will result
in some road noise/resonance getting into the cabin. I don't think this is an issue for me,
as I'm already running True Duals and a Spool. What do you guys think?

If you can tolerate the spool and exhaust then the rod ends shouldn't be an issue. Pavlock sells a nice looking set, or go with a set of madman offset ones, which will give more clearance for wider tires (I am running a set that eastside built for me, very much like the madman style)

I have rod end LCA's on the Camaro and I don't notice them. I do notice them on the Formy... go figure.

You can move a rearend frontwards and backwards but make sure you still have good driveshaft yoke engagement in the trans.

You can thank the fact that the people welding the brackets on are probably measuring with a rock or stick when ti comes to placing the monts on the axle tubes. I think the aftermarket custom housings are probably 100 times better then what Moser can do, I have seen so many 12 bolts and 9 inch rear's built for our cars that require some type of serious adjustment to get the rear square it's disgusting, I swear they just eyeball the **** then wend it on, no way are they actually using a jig of any type.
