Default What are the rules for safety equipment in 1/4?

Kinda vague title but I know sometimes at the track if you run to fast they dont let you run anymore. Whats the deal with that on just like a grudge night or test and tune?

look up the tracks in ur area either IHRA or NHRA. the track u run the first thing u need is a roll bar and screw in valve stems and drive shaft loop. 11.49 and faster. a 6 pnt. is good for 11.01 then a bunch more **** is needed, it cost a lot to go fast and some more to race fast

dont give the man wrong info...

At NHRA tracks there is things you need based on the time you run..

anything faster than 14.00 you need a helment that is SNELL approved

11.49 and faster is when it gets bad
6 point rollbar is needed
5 point harness is needed
single layer SFI approved jacket is needed
Drive saftey loop anytime your running slicks or under 11.49
uhhhh... i know there is more but those are the main things

and there are a lot more for 9.99 or faster
