Default seats and harnesses

what seats and harnesses is everyone using? car will be low 10's high 9's in the 1/4. Just getting an idea, car will have a cage so they will mount on a bar behind the seats.

Stock leather works great for low tens and soon to be high nines, I'm also using a gforce harness which is great.

I think they are comfy, but then again, I haven't made any long trips since I put 'em in. If you're looking for comfort and weight savings, I would look more towards a sport seat.

I just installed a Kirky Econo seat & cover. I didn't like the stock seat for racing as it really doesn't guide the shoulder belts, felt the Kirky or for that matter anything with slots for the shoulder belts to be much safer.

The Kirkey seats are not good long trip seats. About 1 hour and you will start to hit the limit of comfort. They are good drag seats.

I had the JAZ seats in my '00 Camaro and did the long haul on power tour back in '05. It wasn't bad at all. I missed the radio & A/C more than anything.

That's because you guys are PRO STOCK street cars LOL. The Radio will be the last thing to go in my car and probably never will, I'll have 33x17's on the car before I ditch my tunes

Any race car can be driven on the street and be claimed a street car. You should see some of the guys who race up here. Full blown, 7 second alcohol cars that drive 2 miles are street cars.
