I was going to order and heard that Cooper Tires bought MT and they were redesigning the Radials to better meet DOT guidelines and this was the reason for backorder. Anyone else heard this?

Cooper Tire has owned MT for over 3-4 years now,i work there. From what i was told is that the plant that the DR's were being built at relocated to a new plant and all the molds had to be shiped out and setup at the new plant,but that is second hand information.
