50/50 is with what most go with, that's also what I have mine at. 1.6 60's

Question to the people that have them installed, when there set at 50/50 you have to extend them to install them. Well last week I installed some newer rear springs and notcied that the indicator wasn't exactly lined up to the set setting while extended. Does this mean its at whatever setting its pointing or does it work based off what it was set to before extending?
Thanks in advance, not trying to thread hijack because I'm sure others might want to know this later. I'll probally call comp eng. to ask them.

i like the lakewood 40301 solid 50/50's. dont have to deal with the crappy adjustment of the coe's. plus they are shorter, so that is a plus with lowered cars.

Curious why you run them 70/30?

10.44 @ 130 with 150 Shot doesn't seem to be getting the most out of your set up since that mph should be putting you closer to 10.1's

If you pull more mph than that Daniel you should make it into the 9's no problem especially with all the help you can get on here

I set them there purposely in the intent not to have too much squat on the launch. And yes, I know it can go low 10's. Just a matter of setting the on rpm earlier out of the hole. That run in the video, juice came on at 4000 rpm. It was my first run ever on nitrous. And yes my goal also is to run in the 9's on stockbottomend/stock 10bolt! Will try before the year is over! Thanks for looking.

If you don't want the car to squat raise the instant center.

You compress it then turn it a few times to make sure it is engaging the mechanism, then align it with the mark you want, then extend it, once it is extended turning it one way or the other won't effect the valving.

No in the rear shock application, the 1st number is the compression rating, the 2nd is the extension.

There is no 70/30.

Front shock rates are 90/10 80/20 70/30.

Rear shock rates are 30/70 40/60 50/50.

The 50/50 will resist squatting the most, while the 40/60 and 30/70 will allow the rear to drop faster and hold the rear end down more which is supposed to promote more weight transfer on slicker tracks, but will most likely just cause wheel hop.

50/50 from all the people I know gets the best results.

Here is the page for more info.
