Default 13.6 @ 103.51 . . . what next?

this was my first time ever racing, so i am really happy with my times. the car is an '02 WS6 A4, it has a TSP lid, cutout, and the hood is de-baffled. the 13.6 was my best run of the night, and the ricers were filling the lanes so i decided to call it quits for the night. I know there is a lot more in the car. Here is the breakdown of the run.

R/T- 1.088 (didnt care about the lights, i was trying to get the launch right)
60'- 2.220
330'- 5.896
1/8- 8.865
MPH- 83.44
1000'- 11.428
1/4- 13.607
MPH- 103.51

the 2.22 was my best 60' of the night. the only weight reduction was teh removal of the spare and jack. The tires were right around 32-35 psi. i am trying to find some 16" Z28 wheels to mount some nitto's on, and i plan on running the fronts around 40 psi in the future. I am just looking for some advice on how to get the 60' down before the DR's. On that run i mashed the gas to the floor, and once i felt the tires spin i backed off to about 3/4 throttle, should i just stay in it and see what i get with a little more spin, and less bog from feathering it? Any advice is appreciated, i know if i can get the 60 into the 2.0 neighborhood the car will go 13.1-13.3, i just need to know how to get the 60 down. Thanks guys.

First off, drop the tires psi to around 24 in the rear. I used to launch off idle and cut 2.0 60's all day. Don't mash the gas pedal or you'll spin.

unit has the launch and psi about right. I launch on my 16" goodyears at about 1000 stall and hit the throttle about 1/2 to get her moving and ease into the gas the rest of the way, work to tune of 2.0 sixty foots every time, even when the track is shitty. 13.6 at 103 isn't bad for your mods, my formula ran 13.47 at 103 bone stock w/jack and spare removed in august florida 90 degree temps. good luck, and keep practicing!

That's good. . about same times my 99 TA ran bone stock.

I was completely stock down to the paper air filter and kept the spare tire and jack stand in the car and pulled the following best two runs:

Temp F -- 80
Relative Humidity 100
Absolute Barometer 30.55 (Beechbend raceway)

R/T .774
60' 2.127
330 5.846
1/8 8.87
MPH 82.27
1000 11.484
1/4 13.695
MPH 101.81

-----------------
best run

R/T: .776
60' 2.127
330 5.820
1/8 8.834
MPH 82.57
1000 11.424
1/4 13.622
MPH 102.51

I'm going back this weekend to test her out with the following mods. . . havn't raced since it was bone stock back in April:

SLP Air Lid w/K&N filter
SLP 85mm MAF
Smooth Bellows
Free Ram Air Mod
Hooker Cat-back
3.73 gears
3500 TCI Super Streetfighter Stall
tranny cooler
LS1 Edit Dyno tuned. (getting this done on Saturday as well)

Should be interesting if I can get the factory crappy tires to hook ok.
