OK guys need some help here....
Well I went with friend to the track and we iced down the intake and lid for about an hour. Then the car started constantly turning off. During the 1st run doing a burnout, the SES light came on. His time was 1 sec. slower and 10 mph slower. Thats because he added additional pulleys. What went wrong??
BTW: We ran it open headers also at the track because he needs a 'Custom' Exhasut done because some suspension part was in teh way of the Y pipe. Any ideas??

so what ses did he throw? if your not running extensions off the headers, his o2's could be reading some tainted air. and what additional pulleys did he add?

ASP Pulleys. Someone suggested that water from the ice could have messed up teh MAF messing with the pcm. Also, in staging lanes we heard 2 pops that didnt sound normal.

Well he ran a 12.80@104. We autoaped it and he was getting KR, was seeing no more than 15 degrees of timing, and There was a few other codes. I think water got into the MAF and messed it up. I think the open headers gave the KR. Once we get the bugs worked out, expect new numbers.
