How did your racing go this past weekend?
It was ficking HOT down here in FL. I had to dial the car in at 11.46
Pro class had just over 80 cars, I made it to the final 8, semi-finals. Then had a horrible run. I was running really consistant for the first 3 rounds of elimations. I was cutting .512-.525 lights and hitting the dialin. But in semi's I choked. I had a .680 reaction and ran a 11.50 on 11.46, my opponent had a .580 something and ran a 14.20 on a 14.10. I wasn't even close.
I won $40 for finishing 5th-8th. Ah well you win some you lose some.
How did everyone else do?

Welp I didnt get to go cause work changed my hours and I couldn't get out in time to make the trip to the track.
Hoping to be able to go this Friday, baring any BS hour changes at work again.
Good luck to all who do go race this weekend.

made it to the semi's at the Cz nationals event (quick 16), it was my higher 9 sec ride against the other 8 sec. rides, lmao!!!!! unfortunately i had drivetrain breakage the weather was quite toasty! couldn't 60 to save my life, DA was about 2000.
finally weighed the car with me in it......... 3499 lbs. i thought it was lighter!

Failed to qualify at the CZ Nationals for the quick 16, missed it by .1 seconds. Oh well, I would have been eaten alive by two 8.5 second cars and several 9's (including Taner). Car weighed in at 3450, the weight reduction plan is working! Some new personal bests as well, but I'm not telling.

I got 2 new best's in the heat at the CZ Nationals .
12.77 @ 108 1.73 60ft n/a
11.60 @ 119 1.56 60ft on a 125 shot. I can't help but wonder what times would have been in cooler weather.
But red lighted in the second round with a .446 ran a 12.82 on 12.79 dial-opponent had a .776 r/t . Pretty sure i would have took him,oh well (my fault). Good weekend all in all.

Sorry for the late reply. I have been at Coaching School in Ft.Worth, Tx. since Sunday. :p
I went out in the second round Sat. I cut a .521 light to his .536. I was dailed in at 7.39 to his 7.37. I lost alot on the 60ft. A 1.629 to a normal 1.58. I ran way off. 7.47 to his 7.39. The car just wasn't there on this run. Oh well thats drag racing.
This weekend going out to Sealy to let my wife make a couple of passes and I will run in the jack pot race.
Sunday we will head up to TAD to race in their weekly bracket race. They pay $800.00 to win each week.
Good luck to everyone this weekend!

Re: How did your racing go this past weekend?
I did horrible. I red lit in my 2 time trials and then again in the 1st round of eliminations. I ran the .500 pro tree the week before in the NMCA and I really liked it. The sportsman tree killed me this weekend.
My electric water pump came in today and I'm going to work on the car the next few weeks with a few other goodies I just got.
I'm going to swap out to deeper gearing and run a taller tire in the rear.
I'll be back in action in 2 weekends from now.
Good luck to all the HOT WEATHER RACERS. It sure is fun.

Atleast some of you raced...I am still trying to get my car put back together. Put a whole 35 miles on it so far this year.
Just kill me.

Ran first 12 and lost in semi-finals @ CZ nationals(12.98 on 13.10 dial)Best MPH was 113. Wish I had some decent tires and suspension mods and gears .....
Making good HP - just can't hook with any kind of hole shot. 2.2 and 2.1 60' times say it all
