Guys in 11's or pulling sub 1.7 60's what DS?

What are you guys who are running 11's or pulling sub 1.7 60's what driveshaft are you guys using? I plan on using a stock steel LT1 for now and I was wondering if that would be sufficient for the above numbers?

I pulled consistent 1.5s with the stock aluminum shaft. I always worry about it though.

1.46 60 ft 6000 rpm clutch dump on ET Drags.ET was 10.911 at 126.65 on factory alum DS.If your sprayin out of the hole on a good tire you might want to get a steel on.

I just broke a stock steel DS on a 1.74 60ft. (Rear U-joint gave way)
I guess my luck sucks.
I'm switching to aluminum.

With 3600 stall and a 150 shot out of the hole i use stock aluminum and have pulled 1.56 60ft's(11.60 @ 119) with E/T streets.
