Why am I going so slow?????

Why am I going so slow????? My car is a 99 Camaro A4
Here are my mods:
Vig3200 stall, 3.73 gears, K&N FIPK, SLP 85mm MAF, replaced steel driveshaft with aluminum one, and the Diablosport programmer. When my car was completely stock it ran a 13.45@103 with a 2.09 60 ft on street tires. After my mods the fastest I've ran was a 13.58@99 with a 1.87 60ft
. I run on M/T E.T. Streets so I dont spin. I dont understand why its going slower than it did when it was stock. I know my mph would be slower cuz of the gears and converter and the fact that its not spinning like the stock tires did, but i dont see why my times are not faster. Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this slowness??

Re: Why am I going so slow????? You have tried it WITHOUT the Diablosport, right??? Where do you race at??? You aren't comparing "fall" times to "summer" are you???
Your stock time is normal...somethings wrong both on the 60' and the 1/4 with the converter...
You need to Autotap your car during a run and make sure you don't have something generating knock retard, etc....

I ran the car without the diablosport and it sucked cuz it shifted slow cuz i didnt get a shift kit installed. so the diablo helped out cuz i took time out of my shifts and added line pressure and it help out alot. I picked up .1 just fixing my shifts. People say with the vigs to launch at aroung 1000-1500 rpm's but mine sucks when i do that. I launch at around 2500-2800 and my best 60ft was a 1.873. I have left before at a lower rpm and my 60ft were 1.95 or higher. i should have just saved my money on the gear and converter and got nos

Re: Why am I going so slow????? kinda sounds to me like you aren't letting the converter flash enough. Just about everyone the i know of that uses vig 'verters stalls 'em to 1200-1500 and flashes it from there. I know of at least one person on this board that has cut sub 1.5 60' times with a vig 3200 and 3.73's(but that was on 15" hoosier drags). Just practice and you will eventually get it right.
