Who knows. They are out of California and it looks like they are going to the Orlando World street finals in October. I doubt that he even knows about the race in LA.

That is really badass.Too run that et on a street tire is very impressive.I wonder how much faster it would be with a true slick.

I was told before the big drag radial event about this car from a guy in Cali...... The owner of the car is Rick Head of Innovative Turbo and I was also told it is a 427ci motor....

Pretty impressive all the power it's making as well as BD running 171mph, but it's all about getting the power to the ground and in the case of this drag radial racing the Supra has been the most successful so far although I did hear about some BBC/Nitrous Nova that has run some 8.20's on a drag radial (don't know if he was at this event, but I think the guys name is Troy Perez)....

My buddy did all the turbo set up on this car. He is really good with custom stuff and does consulting work for Innovative. They are still getting the suspension and electronics worked out. The thing should move once done

lol @ Guido...it was on a thirdgen so i didn't think about posting it over here :-p

Anywho...when i talked to Rick head about the car he said that they were using their electronic boost controller to ramp up the boost in every gear and they couldn't get it to come up quick enough w/o blowing the tires away otherwise he thought it could've gone faster

btw for those who dont know:
a 315/60/15 drag radial is really close to a 29.5 x 10.5 W tire. So it isn't like this is a "little" tire LOL

but it is still stock suspension

Wolfe Racecraft is working on a turbo'd DR car. Knowing Wolfe...he'll set a record with it..possibly the first 7 on DR's???
