Default which 5 pt harness?

I will be going to summit tomorrow to avoid getting booted from the track

need a fire jacket and a 5 pt harness.

which 5 point harness is SFI approved and decent to latch/unlatch.

using camaro seats and a wolfe bolt in cage ( mounting to the cage behind the seat)

I have Simpson's with the big ugly latch. They are outdated, and are headed for the trash can. The RJS's look killer, and I like the cam release.

Dont forget to check the dates on the harnesses. They are good for TWO years, if I remember correctly.

I have the RJS cam lock. I love them. Easy to get INTO and out of. The only thing I don't like about them is the paper TURN WITH ARROWS stick on for the face plate. I hear the Simpson has a metal face plate but they are more expensive. The
RJS works just fine.

Let us know what you decidied to get.

That's what I have. They're not cheap but I think they're the nicest and easiest to get in/out of. Watch out for tech on the bolt in cage. I can't remember but one of the places that bolts together needs to be welded. I just throw some padding over mine when I went to the track.

i just get the regular lock in my cars..... every 2 years you have to replace them so why pay the extra for the cam lock when they have to be replaced?
