Re: QA1 really rock!
yeah they rock.
When I had stock shocks and hotchkis lowering springs, i yanked 1 wheel about an inch on a 75 shot.
Now I switched to HAL's and stock springs up front and i yank the wheel 2-3 inches on motor, then i yanked the left one about 6 inches, right one about 3 inches on a 150 shot out of the hole.... with the 26x8.5-15 ET Drags spinning I can't WAIT to get me a set of 28x10.5 ET Drags. All that on an M6 to boot!

Yeah, with front Hal's set on 2, I can pull the wheels about a foot. First time I did that, well, I had to go clean up. Now several guys around here are buying them, 'cuz they saw my launches.
By tweaking with the Hals I was able to knock about .07 off my 60'. On 2, it was ~1.62-1.63, on 4 it was 1.56-1.57. Still hoping to drop it down a little more.

This is what happens after you install some QA1's on the front

Tim - I like the adjustments that the QA1's can give you. This past weekend track temps were in the 150 degree range, still cutting mid to low 1.6s'
mobius - 15x3-1/2 on the front 15x10 on the rear, running 26x10x15 on the rear.

Hal is just a brand of QA1.
The Hal's helped me a little, but my tires are shot and I won't know for sure until I get some new ones.
I got the QA1's with QA1 front springs. I have to set my rears at LR-4, RR-6 to compensate for the RR dropping so low. I need an airbag like no other.
I can get the LF tire about 6" off the ground though. No pics, just from what I've been told.

Re: QA1 really rock!
I have Hal's back and front. I figure with the 150 shot, and the transbrake I may have to be a bit careful on launch. Dont want to do a "Pain" bumber buster launch!
My car should be making its debut mid September, and I will have plenty of pics of the launch.
