13.1 ET ?? Need your suggestions
This is ridiculous but I can't even break into the high 12's. the best time is 13.1 at 111mph,60ft 2.1
W/ a 7# pisc,LT's,no cats,4.10 12bolt,revlock clutch and all rear susp.mods???
I know Nitto DR's are not the perfect track tire and I am by no means a perfect driver, but I have spun them throughout 1st gear at various pressures with out resolve?
With 440 hp to the wheels what ET's are possible??
Is it time for a pair of wrinkle walls??

Are you cooking those tires?
What RPM are you dropping clutch at?
With a 12 bolt and aftermarket clutch you should be launching like a bat outta hell. Don't baby it.

Something is not right. You should run those MPHs with your mods and no supercharger. Get it tuned or ATAP it. With 440 RWHP and full weight you should be able to go 119-120 mph.

Yes. the car was dyno tuned by julio at cartek in Garwood NJ. I was told it was a conservative, safe tune.
I launch at 3500 to 4000 rpm, and by the way the engine only has 7K miles could that be a factor? or am I splitting hairs here?

it is a intercooled setup. I was shifting at about 5600 to 5700 rpm at Englishtown's Raceway Park NJ,left lane.
Would torque arm angle have such a detrimental effect. I still have to buy an inclinometer to check where the angle is.
Also the car was dyno tuned with FLP High flow cats. Having removed them for the track, could this have slightly throwed my tune off??

I'd work on the launch...
At least a 1.9 would be okay, front shocks would help you a lot.
Why not shift at say 6000? Stock valvesprings?
Boost pushes your peak hp like 500 rpms.

I have stock valvesprings and stock front shocks.
Any suggestions on what hardware to purchase??
Also, from where I am now with my launch. Does anyone think a 1.7 60ft with 6K shifting and good weather can makeup for this big a gap in trap speed and 1/4 time.

I know I my be a little late on this post but if your have with traction try some ET streets. You already have a 12 bolt so you don't have to worry about the rear grenading on you. Try that with some skinnies up front. I bet you knock off some major time of your ETs.

Times sound off. I ran 12.6 with Nittos 4.10 12 bolt headers, LS^ intake and a few other boltons including BMR stuff. I was launching ~3000 and had 1.88 60'. Nittos need to be very hot. I now have ET Streets and launch at 5K. The stock clutch did not like that bur still ran 12.3 on ET Streets. I now have a SPEC s3. No track times with that yet.
