just get a really sharp knife and keep in mind that you can ALLWAYS take more away, but never less.

I didn't have to. 28x10.5x15 et drags. I pulled the bumper cover back and cut off some of the body there for clearance. The tires don't rub. I will have to see if they do when the tire grows, but if it touches it will only be a tiny bit and will wear away the plastic.

You need a full finger of clearance all the way around for tire growth. Say half an inch. Or it will grow (more so slicks) and rub thru.
What combo are you running Chris?

i saw a pic of Jason Warren's LT1 white Z on exit22.org and i fell in love with the stance. Set of Alumastars sitting on 29.5x10.5x15's. I FINALLY decided on what the hell is going on with my Z, and have started the part collecting process. I'm looking to go the same tire combo. I'll have enough power to turn the tires, so I'm not worried about that. Just wondering who had a body shop do it and how much they were charged. Found a local body shop that has done a ton of work on F-bodies and Vette's(and some higher end cars) and it's a block down the road from my shop. Didn't even know it was there. Also, would be running a large Drag Radial like Brady runs, just not that big.

Znines has run tires like that.
Cutting the rear bumper cover is no biggie, it's the sectioning of the front inner fenderwell that is not a basic modification.

The 3-5 biggies are:
-cut the rear bumper
-hammer back or cut the front part of the fender, opposite of the bumper cover
-jounce stop
-roll fender lip
-cut/section the inner fender well down low near the lower control arm (right above it)
